I thought I'd post a picture of my english bulldog Chunk. He was after all the inspiration for the name on my line, and also the inspiration for one of my first Chunky Chunk designs. Having Chunk is like having a second child in the house. He whines when he doesn't get enough attention, he's constantly drooling, he gets a bath 3 times a week (if
not he stinks up the entire house), and a lot of times he has to be drug out of bed to do any kind of activities. And that's not mentioning all the snoring, farting, burping, and general bulldog behavior. With all that said, he's the best dog I've ever had and I love him to death.

So cute! We were considering getting a bulldog as well. The nursery by our house keep two at their shop and the owner said they're great with kids. He was taking preorders for new pups for $2,800....a little out of budget :(
ReplyDeleteWow $2,800 is quite an investment. I didn't pay that my for Chunk, but he definitely wasn't cheap. Bulldogs do seem to be great family dogs. Chunk puts up with everything my daughter throws at him, and she can be a handful.
